We look to produce a better Brittany with each breeding. All parents are health screened by OFA.org. We screen for hips, elbows, Patella , Cardiac, and Eye Screenings on most of our dogs. Please do your research to make sure a puppy's parents have had health screenings. ( Hips, Elbows, DNA, Patellas, Cardiac, and Eyes).If you are looking for a versatile dog that can be a companion dog, show dog, obedience dog, and hunting dog, you have found the right place. Do your research to find the right dog for your home if you are looking for a field trial brittany then buy from a breeder that is breeding for field trial champions if you are looking for a brittany to show at dog shows then buy from a breeder that is breeding for Show Champions. If you are looking for a pet then a field trial bloodline might not be calm enough to have as a pet in your home. You might also look for breeder that has Sire and Dam that are versatile. The Sire and Dam might have hunt titles, obedience titles, and other titles from AKC. My dogs have AKC titles in Hunt Test, Obedience, Conformation, Trick dog, and Field trials. I don't like for my puppies to go to their forever home until they are at least 10 weeks old. We also sell puppies with full AKC registration and breeding rights. Daisy was a great hunting dog and field trial dog. She won a Field Trial Championship in Cordele. She probably had 4,000 quail killed over her during her life time. My dad and I were guiding at several Plantations at the peek of her life. I have dogs that still have this bloodline from Daisy. I only had three litters for 20 years. I started breeding Brittanys again in 2016. My male for the first two litters in 2016 was 11 years old. His great great grandmother was Daisy. I continue to improve my bloodline by bringing in top field trail dogs and Champion Show dogs in my bloodline. HillTop Brittany Kennel has earned several awards over the years. Best of Breed at Georgia Winter Classic Dog Show in Perry, Georgia. Champion Patsiliga Farm's Branded Man CGC VD won Dual Dog of the Year for Mid-Florida Brittany Club (this goes to the dog that had the most Field trial points and Show points for the year) We also earned Juvenile Dog of the Year won by Piney Run Hilltop Blew JH. These awards are given to one dog each year. HillTop Brittany Kennel has joined the AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T program. It stands for Health, Education, Accountability, Responsibility, and Tradition. Preparing breeders to produce healthy, excellent examples of their breeds is the program’s goal. The Bred with H.E.A.R.T. website features the latest information in genetics, breeding practices, and anatomy. Breeders have the great opportunity to take online courses by renowned breeder Claudia Orlandi Ph.D., who shared her two books, ABC’s of Dog Breeding and Practical Canine Anatomy & Movement. |
